I have suffered greatly with anxiety most of my life and was actually diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder in 2010. The Anxiety also lead to depression. Medications for that lead to weight gain and more depression. I was on 7 meds at one time and didn’t want to live that way anymore. I knew there had to be a better way so I started researching and trying things, researching and trying things. This lead to me learning a LOT about different natural remedies, what breaks the blood brain barrier and what does not. After two years of trial and error, this is what I took and did to get down to just one medication.
It’s in every living cell, tissue and organ, and it’s second only to oxygen as the thing we need most to survive—pure, clean water. We can’t live without it, and we can’t live well without enough of it. We are constantly in need of water as we lose water with every breath and every activity of the body. We are especially at risk for dehydration when we exercise or we are ill—this is when dehydration, even mild dehydration, can take its toll, causing you to feel tired and drained of energy. Anyone may become dehydrated, but young children, older adults and people with chronic illnesses are most at risk. Dr. Julie Scarano, a doctor of chiropractic who is trained in prevention and wellness (in addition to providing care for neuromusculoskeletal conditions such as neck or back pain, for which chiropractors are most well known) believes it’s better to prevent dehydration than to treat it. She also reminds you that the 23 intervertebral discs in your spine have high water content and that dehydration can be associated with …
Thank the Lord above chunky sweaters are still in style lol! no for real, I love them and have been wearing them for years. But speaking to this look; I love that really anyone, at any age or size can pull it off, and look at the cute bows on the shoes! I probably wouldn’t do the holes in my jeans thing but I might. Would you?
Having a child with Asperger Syndrome and fighting for his mental health for literally a decade now I am still completely blown away by how incredibly insufficient our educational, medical and mental health care system is. The recent massacre at another school simply reinforces what I already knew.

Salvia hispanica, or the chia plant, is a species in the mint family that is native to Central America. The seeds of this herb are known as “chia seeds” and they have gained quite a bit of popularity in recent years. Not only are they gluten/grain free naturally, but a single serving is reported to have: as much calcium as a glass of milk more Omega-3s than a serving of walnuts as many antioxidants as blueberries. They give you tons of energy but also won’t keep you awake at night and are supposed to be great for weight loss. Because they can absorb many times their size/weight in liquid, they are great for avoiding dehydration during exercise or exposure to heat. Are Chia Seeds Good for You? Chia seeds have a fascinating and long history of use by several cultures. I’m hesitant to use the word “superfood” because the word is so over-used in modern times and also because there are some confounding factors that may inhibit nutrient use. Supposedly, the Aztecs, Mayans, and Incans used chia as a staple of their diet and …
Um been there, done that. I along with the people mentioned in this article have been on the receiving end of HORRIBLE things said about me on social media (long story, I’ll explain in another article) and all of that, every word said, is still there for the world to see and I can’t do anything about it. What made it more difficult is the negative impact it had on my ability to conduct business for a while causing me a loss. Now I’m not saying that to scare anyone but rather to educate you and to help with that please read HERE.
If you’re at all like me, you love the start of the New Year. Even though January 1st is just another day, it feels like a fresh start. Another chance to do everything better. For people like us, we’d like nothing better than to make 2018 our best business year ever! Most of us start the year with some new goals. But really, your goals are just wishes unless you make a clear plan to reach them. I used to start out the year with a bunch of goals written on a piece of paper. And then I went back to doing the same things I always did. And guess what? At the end of the year, I’d pull out my goals and realize that I hadn’t really made the progress I thought I had. Things really started to happen for us when I went beyond setting a goal. I actually broke down my goal and made a list of everything that had to happen before I …
Roasting a whole chicken has always been one of my favorite meal-prep tips—cook once and you’ll have dinner tonight plus more for meals all week. I’ve even made it part of my regular Sunday routine. Trust me, it’s easy! Not only is buying a whole chicken easy on your wallet (it’s cheaper per pound than buying chicken parts), roasting your own means it will have almost 50 percent less sodium than the rotisserie birds at your grocery store. Use this easy roast chicken recipe to cook two whole birds side-by-side on one pan: you only have to heat the oven once, but you’ll have enough leftover chicken to put to good use with these 57 ideas: HERE.
Oh this seems LUSCIOUS!!! I can’t wait to try it and wanted to share. FOR ONCE, I have all the ingredients on hand for a recipe I want to try yay!!! While a salt scrub is awesome for heels and elbows, it’s also a wonderful overall body scrub. I’ve also been experimenting more with essential oils, and I am definitely finding some favorites — like peppermint. I love the way it smells, and it’s so refreshing too. And lavender — clean, pure, and not at all heavy like the some of the scented products you’ll find in the stores. I’m usually sensitive to heavy perfumes and scents, so Lavender oil was a nice surprise! Read the recipe below-
